Well, I tried to vote on Tuesday.
Apparently, in this state "motor voter" means that when you tell VDOT you've moved, nothing happens. I was still a registered voter in Centreville, meaning I could have gone up there to vote, but it was already late and driving half an hour to vote in an election that's going to be a landslide didn't appeal to me. So, no vote.
And checking the Virginia registrar's page, apparently a decade into the 21st century means you still have to fill out a form and mail it in. How quaint.
