As I write this, yesterday I went and got the 2nd Covid booster. Given that the one and only time I got Covid I was (a) in Ohio and (b) vaxxed but not yet boosted, I wanted to make sure I got it done more than two weeks in advance of Thanksgiving.
Same results as before, soreness in the arm and chills. The chills were bad last night -- pretty much uncontrollable shivering when I woke up at 5 to pee -- but now it's down to "who's been messing with the thermostat" levels. Even managed to take my lunchtime walk today.
My average on getting-Covid-in-Ohio is pretty brutal. I skipped both holidays in 2020, and went up for both last year. And the Christmas present I really didn't want, I got. So, batting .500 where I'd really rather not be. Let's see if I can get that down toward .250 this year.
